Six soldiers came into the ER after hitting an IED. They were all here with concussions, just for observation. Running over an IED used to mean guaranteed death, now they're just getting knocked out. Our vehicles are getting smarter and stronger. Kick ass America!

ReplyDeleteWe are also now training more drone pilots than fighter and transport pilots combined. These pilots never leave the U.S.! The face of war is changing. Technology really can save lives. Perhaps we will never again have to sacrifice so many good young people in order to fight what is truly evil.
ReplyDeleteWhen the cost of an item depreciates, and thus, its net value appreciates, will the use or purchase of such items go up or down? While I am all about less collateral damage in war, I am also afraid of taking the one thing away that keeps the American public hesitant to fight wars, the death of their loved ones.
